During the Lanvin 2006 Autumn/Winter collection, we were hired to shoot some backstage footage of the final show. The theme of this collection was tied very closely to the movie "Blade Runner" so it was key to capture the dark atmosphere. The focus on the eyes at the start of the clip was to mirror how the use of eye scanners were used to identify replicants in the movie. The Music used was taken from a live recording of the rehearsals and so contributed to the metallic yet organic feel we were trying to achieve. The edited footage was then used as the introduction to the promotional DVD sent to Lanvin's prospective clients.
